The Truth Behind the "ONLY BELIEVE" Doctrine
61I will tell you why..
I am sorry about the nature of this article and my choice of words, but I tell you, sometimes medicine is bitter, but it can heal.
Protestants have a core belief that works are not required for salvation - ONLY believing and accepting Jesus as personal savior is enough. This is a misunderstanding. The bible is not a single chapter or verse alone. One needs to consider all other books written on it.
If faith is enough, and good works is not needed, then why are they still affiliated to a church? Why do they need to go to church? Why do they have to give tithes? Why do they still need to do good works and help others? If the reason is - because this is the product of faith - how about those who are not able to show their faith's product? Are thay also saved?
I have no questions that faith is important. Faith in God, and faith in Jesus is important. But to say that it is what one simply needs to be saved, I believe it is not true. The proponents are doing some other "extra" things like going to church to worship God and giving tithes (anyways, tithing is not required in the Christian era anymore, it is a commandment in the time of Moises), but they tell people to do just this. Come to think of it.
The bible is not a one verse book - that you have to rely on one verse alone.
For what reason did Jesus established a His church? Did you know the story of Cornelius - the good man who is the leader of a centurion? He is a good man but everything he does is only a remembrance to God - no salvation value. That is why an apostle was sent to teach him and baptize him into the church of Jesus.
Any comments about this, I am eager to answer.
Heaven gates
Not enough
Christ was sent, because Christ is to established a Church - which He is going to save come judgement day. The church is named for Christ, for He is the head of the Church. But it was apostatized when the apostles died and Christ was already in heaven. It has changed in many ways - the name was changed in honor to Rome - and not in honor to God anymore. Scandals enveloped the church and all the early Christians are killed.
The true Church stopped existing for while. What remained for the dark ages was the great harlot church and her daughter. And the daughter taught this incorrect teaching of ONLY believing is enough.
ONLY accepting is not enough. God has a process - but I don't have much time to elaborate it here. My advice to everyone, is for them to search - review their faith, give time to think about what they believe in... and best - pray heartily to God that He show them the right way to salvation.

I challenge this view. In the light of that every human being is bankwraped before God. Romans 3:23-24, "For all have sinned, and come shprt of the glory of God. Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus". Salvation is God's free grace given to human beings who chooses freely what Jesus Christ has done for them on the cross. Whoever choose this free gift is completely set free from the Law of sin and death. As we continue to walk according to the teachings of Jesus Christ through faith will produce fruits which I believe the Apostle Paul calls good works in Ephesuans 2:8-10.
Reading Galatians the Apostle Paul wretes about the Jews who went to the church in Galatia that they had to be circumcisied to become Christians. Paul says no that it is by faith that we are saved. Galatians 3 is his his answer to this.
