BUTTOCK IMPLANTS

These implants have moved out of the realm of the select few and becoming a more main stream procedure than ever before. These implants can be referred to also as gluteal augmentation.
Although a very common procedure very few doctors are qualified to undertake this procedure as compared to other procedures for example breast augmentation, vaginal rejuvenation, and penile enhancement e.t.c. the reason that its not practiced by most surgeons is that most come into agreement that these is not a very good surgery to everyone. Another thing that makes it so unpopular with the doctors is that they say that the procedure is very difficult to take from the drawing board to a matching finished product so to speak without complications along the way which can be more prevalent than is found with other cosmetic procedures.
When put in simple terms, butt augmentation is the procedure in which silicon implants are used to re sculpt the buttocks providing a more desirable shape and size. Although not common buttock lift will be performed in conjunction with implants, however it is not a necessity, nor is liposuction to transfer impacted fat. The procedure involves an incision that is made under the buttocks which does remain very well hidden and the implants placed under the fascia which is best described as the fibrous lining encasing the buttock muscles,. If it happens that the patient is thin an intramuscular insertion may be performed, and it is said that either technique is equally tolerable. It is believed that intramuscular insertion limits implant shifting and provide an extra layer of coverage to provide a more natural feel to the touch, and a bit more protection from infection.
It is quite surprising that not all doctors are in to terms with this method, however the it does make sense to many patients.

FACE PROCEDURES

There exists several face procedures all with the common goal of  remove excess fatty tissue, tighten underlying facial muscles, and smooth facial skin – all with minimal scarring. The face procedures include standard face lift, lower or mid facelift and the modified mini or weekend face lift.
The beauty with these procedures is that they are outpatient and can be performed using general anesthesia or a local anesthesia and sedative combination.
The procedure involves the plastic surgeon making an incision usually above the hair line and separating the facial skin from the underlying tissue. The surgeon removes excess skin and fat and the surrounding and muscles are tightened to improve the contours and the appearance of the patients face. After all this the skin is then repositioned with staples or stitches and the treated area is wrapped in bandages. The end result of the removal of excess fat and excess skin generally results in a noticeable reduction of sagging and age lines in the face. Combined with the tightening of facial muscles, such face lift surgery procedures can give patients a refreshed, younger-looking, and more vibrant appearance making you end up loving yourself.
Healing of this surgery takes approximately several weeks. During this period pain medication is usually prescribed, and physical and social activity may be limited initially. if you are worried about the scars that will result from the surgery you should not continue to worry as the scar will be obscured by the patients hair. For the advanced in age face lifts may be a little bit invasive than for patients in their 30s and 40s, who often require relatively slight adjustments to counteract moderate signs of aging.
The procedures do not require out of the ordinary anesthetics and can be done under general anesthesia or local anesthesia.

LIPOSUCTION

For those that are not familiar with what this is, liposuction is a type of cosmetic surgery operation that involves the removal of fat from different areas of the human body. The areas that the fat is removed from are of a wide range. It includes parts like the abdomen, thighs, buttocks, to the neck back of the arms and many other places.
This procedure is referred to in so many ways. Names given for it include: lipoplasty (fat modeling), liposculpture suction lipectomy or simply lipo (suction assisted fat removal).so when you get to here any of these words you should know that they are simply referring to liposuction.
Since it is a surgical procedure it has its limits i.e. the amount of fat that can be removed. There are several factors that limit the amount of fat that can be removed in one session. The amount of fat that can be removed in one session is left to the patient and the doctor to decide. Removing too much fat has its negative aspects usually characterized by unusual lumpiness or dents on the patient’s skin. The risk in a liposuction increases with increase in the amount of fat that is removed.
For an aesthetic during the procedure a local anesthetic will handle the job just fine. Other important factors that affect the safety of the procedure is the choice of anesthetic and the patients overall health. The patient is usually highly advised not to have smoked in the recent past usually several months and to be as fit as possible before the procedure is carried out. Your health is very important.
While huge amounts of fat have been reported to have been removed, the contouring possible with liposuction can make the appearance of weight loss seem greater than the actual amount of fat that has been removed.
